It's awesome to reconnect with you all! Remember my charisma framework? Let's dive right back in because it's time to shine.
My Charisma Framework has three pillars:
- A.C.E.S. Formula: These are the four social virtues to captivate people: Appreciation, Communication, Energy, and Self-Expression.
- Body Language: Techniques to embody open and approachable energy.
- Sensual Therapeutic Movement: Move to awaken your divine feminine energy and prompt self-love.
To truly embody these principles, it’s essential to grasp the Rule of 90/10. Evaluate your self-worth using this formula: 90% derived from self-acceptance and self-appreciation, and only 10% from external validation. When we overthink, feel insecure, or struggle with self-doubt, this balance often skews, sometimes even flipping entirely.
In the coming weeks, I'll share some tools to help you reconnect with your self-worth and tap into your hidden divine feminine energy. To be fully transparent, it took me two years to reconnect with my inner radiance during my pre-menopausal and menopausal phases. It was a challenging journey, but I rediscovered my vibrancy in a new, different way that I now embrace and love.
Today, I want you to reflect on these two concepts:
- Self-esteem describes how you think and feel about yourself.
- Self-worth describes how much you value yourself.
Self-esteem is often influenced by external factors such as others' approval or task performance. In contrast, self-worth is an internal belief in your inherent value, independent of achievements or skills. To enhance both self-esteem and self-worth, practice self-compassion and cultivate relationships with those who appreciate you. Here are some straightforward action steps:
- Daily Affirmations: Begin your day with positive affirmations. Give yourself a quick morning wink in the mirror and say, "Looking good! Ready to conquer the day!"
- Gratitude Journal: Each day, either write down or say out loud the things you're grateful for. Personally, I prefer saying it out loud, as if I'm my own best friend.
- Surround Yourself with Positivity: Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you—it's absolutely essential!
- Self-Care Routine: Prioritize activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Personally, I find that movement, particularly dance and posture exercises, works wonders for me!
- Set Achievable Goals: Divide larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks and celebrate your progress along the way. Stay flexible with your needs to ensure your day flows smoothly, and avoid judging whatever challenges arise. Prioritizing rest and recovery has been crucial for me in maintaining long-term sustainability.
Consider starting a Self-Reflection Journal with me! I'll wrap up each email with a few thought-provoking questions to spark some introspection. By reflecting on our thoughts, actions, and emotions, we can gain valuable insights and unlock our true potential. This practice helps us explore our true selves, make conscious decisions, and cultivate a more fulfilling personal and professional life.
Questions for Reflection:
1. What Do I Value Most In My Life?
Such a soul-searching question, right? This self-reflection isn’t just about priorities; it’s like your personal compass, guiding your life’s journey.
As you reflect on your values, you’re not only discovering your true essence but also empowering your future decisions.
2. What Are Three Things I’m Most Proud Of?
Isn’t it uplifting to bask in the light of your triumphs? This self-reflection question invites you to celebrate your journey so far, to acknowledge the mountains you’ve climbed and the strength you’ve discovered within.
When you ponder, “What are three things I’m most proud of?”, you’re not only boosting your self-esteem but also igniting a spark that propels you forward.
